Man, I had a great weekend!
Lots of time outdoors, pushing myself through a tough and hilly course filled with obstacles!
Today, I got the pleasure of running with a friend of mine doing his first race.
He's on his own journey, and I was honored to be a part of that today.
Here's a couple of observations I made on the day.
He tried every obstacle. That, by itself, is impressive.
He made UNBIASED observations of his current position and then made plans for improvement. He never made an excuse. Only a plan.
He celebrated his progress and made the connection between where he was and where he is now. Celebrating the small victories is key to continued progress.
I'm proud of him and inspired by his drive! Congrats on crossing the finish line, brother!
No excuses!
