No chance I would have believed these words would be coming from me, even in April.
Today, I did an hour long, 5-mile RECOVERY RUN! What?! This is what happens when you set your identity and start acting like that thing. I decided running was a part of my identity, and now I'm doing things like this.
How does this apply to you? Well, it's simple. Figure out what you want to accomplish. Set your identity to be that thing. Start acting like that thing. You will be terrible at it in the beginning. That's fine. Learn, adapt, change some habits, and keep going. Very soon, you will be doing this like this, and it will be completely normal to you.
