For real, though. You blast your nervous system with input all day and never let it cycle down and recover. Then you wonder why you can't seem to feel with anything...
Your systems need to cycle throughout the day. Some days, that might be a quick 5 minute break every few hours. Other days, that might be a 20-minute break every 30 minutes.
Go for a no input walk in nature. Do the dishes in silence. Drive without the radio on. Take a quick nap. Meditate. Whatever allows your nerves to down cycle and reset. Trust me. If you do this, you will be much more effective when you return, and you won't need that energy drink to give you fake energy.
