If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.
When you have dietary goals and guidelines, it's easy to stay on track with a plan.
I know that going into my wife's birthday dinner, we will have at least one dessert.
Although this is not typical for me anymore, I have a plan.
During the day, I will prioritize my protein goals and keep my intake of everything else lower. At dinner, I will finish up my protein, then fill in the rest with whatever I want.
Planning for special occasions helps you stay on track when you want to break from your routine. And don't forget your plan to get back to your regular routine afterward!
No excuses!
