Learning to say no to requests that pull you from your goals will free your mind more than you realize.
I get it. You want to be helpful. But more than likely, you are just being used.
Saying no shows you know your value and know how to manage your time properly. It can actually make you more valuable to others.
There's also ways to put the burden on the requester, too. Ask them what they would like de-prioritized or what other task can be offloaded so you can put the proper amount of time and attention into each task.
