I used to say this, too, so my stance has changed over time.

When you fake it, you ultimately know you are telling a lie.

This means you know deep down you are not in integrity with yourself.

Instead, start shifting your identity to be the thing you want.

That identity should then guide your actions and behaviors. As you conduct yourself in that manor, evaluate your actions, learn, and implement any changes needed to improve.

You will suck at first. That's the point. Very few people are good at anything on their true first attempt. They just didn't give up!
