Comparison is not the thief of joy.

You are the thief.

You know you were just a few decisions away from having the life you want. You just chose different.

You compare everything else in your life each time you make a decision. So why is it only a joy thief when you're in the equation?

Because it hurts to know you are what's holding you back. It's easier to give excuses. It's easier to say how that person had a leg up.

Nah, that's bullshit. You know it. I know it.

Here's the deal. It doesn't have to stay that way. Just make better choices from here. Do the things it takes now. Put in the work. It will take time still, but you have to start. It won't do it on its own.
