Be boring.
You don't need to change things up all the time. You don't need to move on from something after it doesn't work right away.
Some things need time.
You think because it didn't work after one or two tries that it's never going to work. You think because you don't see progress in the gym after two weeks that it's not working.
John Wooden knew this. He made small changes over time, then figured out a method he knew would work. It failed at first, but he stuck with it. Eventually, that led to a decade of dominating college basketball.
Be boringly consistent.
No excuses!
