After a quick bout of irritation today, I decided to take action and do something about the problem.
I gave up a big chunk of my day to clear a portion of the public sidewalk that will go uncleared otherwise. I still have a LOT to do over the coming days, but I made a big dent in it today.
I don't say this to seek praise. I don't need it nor deserve it. My actions today used to be common in this country. I desire that for us again.
Although nobody came out to help me, hundreds of people drove by and saw me at work. With any luck, at least one of them will be inspired to do the same.
Waste no time arguing over what needs to be done or what constitutes a good man. Be a good man and do what needs to be done. It's that simple.
No excuses!
