Step Parents are often discouraged from parenting their stepchildren, after all, these kids already have a pair of parents in their lives. At the same time, the step-parent is in a role of authority and shares a roof with these children. What are the boundaries of the step-parent? How can they help raise ALL the children they live with? Lindsey Staton became a certified life coach in 2014. Since then she has
helped hundreds of clients with issues such as goal setting, time
management, life change and processing pain. Her passion is relationship
coaching, especially in the areas of marriage, divorce, remarriage and
blended families.
She also enjoys speaking at conferences and retreats around the country
and has appeared on several podcasts as well. She has a personal,
faith-based blog where she addresses a number of topics similar to her
coaching practice.
Lindsey has been a wife, mother and stepmother in her own blended family
since November of 2010. She has done extensive research on remarriage,
step-parenting and blended families, often using her own experiences and
mistakes as examples.
