Carmela and Rich talk about the relationship between mind, body, and emotion and how to unlock triggers and blocks.
Dr. Carmela Bennett Bio:
I blend 25 years of experience and training with psychodynamic, somatic (mind/body integration), gestalt and the expressive arts, to work with individuals, couples and families and specialize in relationships, anxiety disorders, addiction, life/career transitions, PTSD and developmental trauma. My training in somatic experiencing enables me to address trauma at its bodily source -an inside out approach that cognitive approaches can’t access. My belief in our human drive for wholeness extends to my extensive work with individuals and families impacted by addiction, a fundamental disconnect of mind, body, and spirit.
This holistic approach enables me to meet clients where they are, bring the unconscious into consciousness, work with difficult emotions, and develop practical skills that enable new insights to become new ways of experiencing your internal and external life, relationships, and make career and life decisions that create the meaningful life you seek.
Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially in times of crisis when you need it most. I warmly invite you to reach out by phone or email through my website and schedule a free initial consultation to explore how we might work together to help you live a life of purpose and connection with self and others.
