An American in Paris (1951)

Jack loves being a film critic ... analyzing both the good and the bad of everything that is cinema.  The Best Picture Oscar winner of 1951, An American in Paris, covers both ends of that spectrum. The music of George Gershwin, the dance sequences, and many of the scenes really project this film forward ... but was all of that enough to deserve the accolades it received from the Academy, including the top prize at the Oscars.
