With over 26 years of experience as an antique dealer and designer, Lidy Baars encourages her clients to design homes that are not only beautiful & comfortable but also filled with meaningful, unique objects that reflect their style.  Born and raised in Europe, Lidy opened French Garden House in 2007, her shop where her curated antique treasures are available online. 

She thrives on sourcing inspirational, fresh, and lively home décor for her clientele, beautiful objects that give a home that lived-in the look that's still relaxed and casual so that it is a warm and welcoming haven for family and friends.  Most importantly, she encourages all her customers to allow their homes to tell a story—their story.

She cares deeply about helping people create a welcoming and inviting home, a place of welcome for their families and friends. Lidy has had articles about antiques published in leading interior magazines, and her home has been featured several times, but the absolute best thrill for her is to have customers tell her that something from her shop has added something special to someone's life.  Lidy also has a blog through which she hopes to encourage others with faith, help with creating beauty in their world, and friendship.
