As a believer in Christ, you are righteous in and through Christ. Your righteousness is not based on yourself and your works—faithfulness and obedience to God. Instead, your righteousness is based on Christ's faithfulness and obedience to God. You need to be engrossed, preoccupied, and dominated with thoughts of your righteousness in Christ.
