Psalm 79 Keeping your faith in Jesus as a sure foundation, even amidst the storm.
Jerusalem and Judah had been demolished and defeated. This was extremely difficult for the people of God. 2 Kings 17 beginning in verse 7 does a good job of giving an example of why this happened, even though for Judah it happened later.
What is beautiful is despite the hardship he remains in faith and gives thanks to the name of God forever (verse 13).
