Acts 8 Have you been baptized in water and Spirit?

Baptism in water and Spirit when done right should accompany one another but there are times Biblically where this is not the case. Some reasons are, and there could be others….

1. Water Baptized before personal faith in Jesus. Examples are infant baptism or perhaps baptism of a very young child.
2. Water baptized without any knowledge of the Spirit
3. Water baptized by someone who was not of the Spirit.
4. Water baptized for the wrong reason. An example may be an emotional decision that is not from true faith or getting baptized because someone else was and you did it because they were.
