In life there will be many who will have counsel. Make sure you are seeking God’s counsel among counselors.
As we will see in this chapter mankind is filled with lies, deception and biases.
When you seek counsel, go to men and women of God, Compare what they say to God’s Word and you will have a good foundation from which to make a decision.
The other important word from this chapter is that David was lied to and acted on the lie. The wisdom of Proverbs 18:17 is significant.
