Jesus accepted Peter's testimony that He is God. He demonstrated His diety giving many proofs. Deny self and pick up cross and follow Him. What any church says doesn't matter - the Word of God and conscience is the ultimate authority. Social issues (abortion, homosexuality, promiscuity, war, etc.) in the church. Jesus staked all claims on His resurrection. The Jews are God's chosen people. Armegeddon.
