Day 7: Reflection and Preparing for the Coming Week

  • What to Do: Reflect on your last 7 days of work. This is a valuable practice to gain insights into your progress and areas where you might want to make adjustments.
  • Daily Practice: Here's a step-by-step guide on how to accomplish this:
     
    • Find a quiet and comfortable space where you won't be disturbed.

    • Take out your journal or a notebook dedicated to this exercise.
  •  
    • Start by writing down the date and "Reflection on the Last 7 Days."
  •  
    • Begin by thinking back to your intentions from Day 1. Were you able to stay aligned with them? What successes did you achieve based on your daily intentions?
  •  
    • Next, think about the challenges or obstacles you encountered during the past week. How did you handle them? Were there any patterns you noticed in your behavior or reactions?
  •  
    • Celebrate your achievements, no matter how small they may seem. It's important to acknowledge your progress.
  •  
    • Write down any lessons or insights you gained during this reflection process.
  •  
    • After reflecting on the past week, shift your focus to the future. Write down your goals for the next month. Be specific and clear about what you want to achieve.

  • Example: Let's say your intention for Day 1 was to "Stay focused and positive throughout the day." In your reflection, you might write, "I successfully stayed positive during challenging moments at work. However, I noticed that I got distracted easily when working from home. I need to create a more focused work environment. I also realized that when I stay positive, I'm more productive."

For setting goals for the next month, consider a specific goal like, "Complete the first draft of my project proposal by the end of the month." This goal is specific, measurable, and time-bound.
