Good Friday 4•18•25

This Good Friday, we focus on the profound significance of Jesus preparing to die on the cross, fulfilling the ultimate sacrifice for humanity's sins. In Exodus 23:20-23, God promises His people seven blessings as they walk in obedience to Him—blessings that point toward God's eternal provision and protection. As Jesus journeyed toward the cross, He embodied these promises, fulfilling the Passover's purpose by becoming the ultimate sacrificial Lamb. Reflecting on John 14:1, Jesus speaks to His disciples, urging them not to be troubled but to trust in Him, even as He faced His impending death. On this sacred day, we remember that Jesus’ death was not just an act of suffering, but a fulfillment of God's plan for our redemption, securing for us the blessings of His presence, protection, and eternal life.
