SHADES is an acronym that’s been popularized with content creators. I came across it while listening to an interview with Jessica Richey of SheSnaps. Jessica is a creator who is very open about mental health and the importance of taking care of it. And she has expressed a concern for the gaming and streaming communities to do the same.
So what does SHADES stand for? Sleep, Hydration, Air, Diet, Exercise and Stillness.
In this episode I undercover why SHADES is important and how we can all easily incorporate it into our lives for better mental and physical health.
