Growing up in the bustling city of Aleppo, Tarek always wanted to help people, and decided to become a doctor. But when the Syrian civil war broke out during his time in medical school, he found himself having to live and work in the toughest circumstances imaginable.

First broadcast on 103.2 Dublin City FM and funded by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland with the Television Licence Fee.
