27/Jun/25:
Ron got into the constitutional debate concerning the lawfulness of Trump’s bombing of Iran last weekend. He read the pertinent portions of the Constitution, namely, Article 1 Section 8 Clause 11 on Congressional power to “declare war” and Article 2 Section 2 the Executive’s authority to be “commander in chief” when “called” into service. He showed the difference between declaring and initiating war. He then talked about the 1973 War Powers Resolution and its violation and dissolution of the US Constitution. Then Ron talked about the ludicrous arguments in defense of the bombings as an act of peace not war, and how the effectiveness of the bombing should make it lawful. Dan, David, and John called and added a lot to the show. After the show Ron thinks he has discovered why David is having a hard time with Galatians 3:16 which seems to have an impact on his association with his desire for Ron to read about “Identity Christianity.” Ron will address that in the next show on July 11, Lord willing. Have a blessed 4th of July!!!
