Meet Released

Released brings you the unfiltered realities and self-told narratives of formerly incarcerated individuals, during their post-incarceration years. The podcast is hosted and produced by Abigail Guziewicz, a full-time volunteer at Homeboy Industries, and Edin Madrid, who was tried as an adult at the age of sixteen and served fourteen years behind bars. Brought to you out of Homeboy Industries, the largest gang reentry and rehabilitation program in the world, Abby and Edin come together to give people the chance to have the mic and tell their stories, from their own perspective.  Episodes offer a view of people's lived experiences both inside and outside of prison, and the barriers faced by reentry.
