Jenna Hodge is a wife, mom of 3 boys and a mom hood coach helping moms take care of their little ones and themselves.

Some of what Jenna and I chat about in this episode is:

  • Talks about her life and how she became a mom. Had four little boys in a span of four years, and had them young. She dives into how that felt.
  • Taps into mental health with having kids. With how many and postpartum. They are all very different.
  • A story about having postpartum depression that started with the birth of her first child, what she went through and how she worked through it.
  • Shares all of the situations that she has experienced from the birth all the way to the first few months after having her first born.
  • How with all of the things that were going on and she was at the end of her rope- she made a decision to do something different and tackle these things one thing at a time.
  • Recognized that sleep was a huge factor in her feeling awful. Getting that back on track and being a non negotiable was essential to her healing and her baby thriving and growing more.
  • Shares when she figured out she had postpartum depression and shares what she did and the steps she took to get through it.
  • Explains how different her 1st, 2nd and 3rd postpartum were. And going into detail about how different kiddo number one and kiddo number two was with pregnancy along with postpartum.
  • How with her 3rd baby she was stressed out from the beginning of bringing him home and how she recognized she was in postpartum depression sooner but she said the thoughts were worse with this one than the first.
  • Then she went to doctors in her postpartum journey because she knew something was off and needed to get answers. And she knew to keep researching, asking, and learning she found a way to get healthy and happy.
  • Jenna is passionate about coaching other moms during pregnancy and postpartum and how that looks with your life and your schedule.
