In this episode we meet Desiree Wolfe. She is on a mission to inspire women to be more brave when it comes to using their voice. She shares how she learned to set boundaries so saying no means having a little more "hell yeah" in life. Desiree co-authored the book "Behind Her Brand" direct sales edition. She has worked with hundreds of women as a former business coach. And is an event industry professional, rallying for women to be heard.She is the host of the Slightly Unfiltered Podcast where she invites everyday women to share their stories of when they chose to be unfiltered. She is a dynamic guests who might drop an "F-Bomb" or two but your audience will love her sassy attitude.

We chat about: 

  • Talks about her journey and how her mom has helped her become who she is today, and what a strong confident women really means. 
  • Her true passion is to empower women and loves to do events.
  • When raising children trying not to raise A holes, and just be nice to people.
  • Chats about how her kiddos came to be and the relationship with their father and how that road had its peaks and valleys and what she did about that. 
  • How a rocky relationship can lead to losing yourself and it is important to figure out who you are again. Figure out who we are as people.
  •  The battle with having children and the thoughts that you are supposed to do all the things, and that thinking about yourself can be selfish and how to work with those thoughts.
  • Talk about how you show up for your kids, and that you can choose how you show up, she also shares how when someone asked her what she does for fun she didn’t know. Was a realization that she needed to do something for her and its ok. 
  • It is ok and you can have both be a mom AND an individual. It feels amazing!
  • Shares what the “stuck in the suck” means 
  • How to start the process of thinking of yourself with your kids. There are a couple of examples on how to start that process, and how you can build from there. 
  • How to take 30 min a day to focus on yourself, and drops in other tools she uses to better her mental health.
