A lot has been said and written about humor. There are doubts about whether comedy can be translated or not, and nowadays, we see debates about what is appropriate to laugh about and what it is not. Leaving the controversies aside, we can confirm that joy and laughter is a connector and can go through age, ethnic, and language barriers. And in many cases, it can save lives.
Today, joining me is Lisa David Olson; she is a speaker, podcaster, author, creative mentor, and comedian. We had a stimulating conversation about her difficult childhood and how joy and laughter saved her and her siblings and ended up being a profession, a lifestyle, and a vision of the world. We also talked about how she helps her clients with her creative mentorship and her passion for spreading joy and laughter, and enjoy being silly.
Lisa donates part of her income to the Family & Children's Center to help with the Healthy Families program, which wasn't available when she was a little girl.
Tune in to Episode 73 of Rejuvenaging, and hear Lisa's fantastic story about strength, kindness, joy, and laughter.
