When we think of sales, we often picture a person coming to our doorstep promoting their product or a car dealership employee that tries to trick us into buying a car we don’t need because he’s working on commission.

This is one of the reasons why many people try to avoid this industry. But sales means helping other people get what they want, and the truth is that it is not a business skill, it’s actually a life skill that we all practice whether we realize it or not.

In today’s episode, we have a very special guest, Dr. Cindy, who both lives her life with enthusiasm and can help all of us to live ours the same. We discuss the misconceptions around sales, the five steps of a sales process, and the reasons why sales are part of our lives every day, regardless of the industry we’re working in.

Dr. Cindy McGovern is an expert in the areas of sales, interpersonal communication, relationships, and management, and she has earned her reputation by helping literally hundreds of companies to grow their business. She is a popular and inspiring speaker, and the author of The Wall Street Journal bestselling book, "Every Job is a Sales Job". As CEO of Orange Leaf Consulting, she has coached and guided companies and individuals to achieve professional success and sustainable revenue growth. Due to her amazing work, she has earned the reputation of “The First Lady of Sales”.
