With the rise of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement and the growing concerns over systemic racism across the United States, I felt it necessary to bring attention to this conversation. 


In today’s episode, I discuss why being inclusive and connected as a society is an essential part to furthering our growth as humans, the effect that the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement has had on me personally, as well as how we can challenge ourselves to be better allies towards minority groups and actively work to stand up for those in need.  


It is our responsibility as people to support each other and call out prejudice behaviours when and where they unfold. For us to grow and band together effectively, we must all understand a common goal and overcome these deplorable actions so that future generations won’t have to endure the same heartaches.
