Episode #6.29: Offered and Lost - 3 Qunari Leave an Estate…

Oh hey, we were supposed to do something for the Viscount. Good thing that guy is still at the hanged man getting drunk and bragging about being an absolute shithead. Hawke gets some information out of the guy, a templar with the grand cleric’s seal abducted the qunari and paid our drunkard to turn his head. We don’t get the opportunity to speak with Grand Cleric Elthina, though, because Mother Petrice intercepts us to say that the grand cleric would never sanction such a thing but surely it’s fine because she trusts her subordinates to do the right thing. If we press Petrice, then she will sacrifice her trusted bodyguard Ser Varnell and label him a fanatic. She gives us his location and arrives on our heels to disavow Varnell’s actions and set Hawke up as the coming retribution. One dead templar later, the Viscount has a huge headache to deal with.
