Fitness doesn’t seem like it matters until all of a sudden one day, it becomes obvious how much it does.
After all of the craziness of the holidays and ALL that we have been doing for EVERYONE around us this last month or two - I decided that it is time for us to take a selfish – because we haven’t done that in so very long, and we totally deserve it. As a life-long fitness enthusiast, I know that movement truly is medicine - for the body and the mind. Many studies support this by showing relationships between physical activity and the elimination of symptoms of or decreased risk of many diseases and ailments.
Recently, my workouts have taken me away from the cardio that I love, so I've decided to add mindfulness walks to my days - for my mental well-being. I'd love for you to join me on these walks as I revisit our episodes in 20 or 30-minute "walk size" episodes.
