Revisiting WNKU's Last Day: 04/15/22

Back in 1985, Northern Kentucky University launched WNKU - a radio station that offered listeners an eclectic blend of alternative, folk rock, classic rock, bluegrass, and music by local artists. In 2011, the station expanded it's footprint in the tri-state by acquiring two additional frequencies. Unfortunately, due to a lack of funding, the station was sold in 2017. This week on RITY, I'll be spotlighting songs that WNKU played during their final day on air back on September 28th, 2017.
