Composer and filmmaker Kays Alatrakchi joins the show to discuss growing up in Italy, playing in a band with Rob Thomas, and connecting with UCF’s film community in Orlando. He also breaks down the process of coming up with the score for a film and collaborating with other musicians. Kays also talks about transitioning to other aspects of the industry, including writing and directing his short film “In Lucidity,” the struggles of post-production, and why he learned so much from those struggles.
