Amid the temptations and sufferings and persecutions facing the churches, Revelation 4 reminds them—and us—that the Lord is king and is on his throne. This glimpse into the heavenly throne room fortifies God’s people in the present, and fuels their joyful worship as they look to Jesus, the one who is worthy.
