003: Nathan Spearing on Productive Property and Setting Priorities Right

After 14 years in Special Operations, Nathan Spearing exchanged a life of military achievement and adrenaline for a more valuable dedication: his family. His story stands in stark contrast to the millions of veterans who struggle with transitioning, not because they had challenges to face, rather that in addition to the hardships of leaving the known for the unknown, his departure came with hooks attached. 

Now, the Spearing family has built a life for themselves, focusing on productive property, and he gives an account of what that looks like, from the perspective of a father, a husband, and a former Special Operator. 

After living at the pinnacle of what much of Gun Culture holds in high esteem, he argues that you should first invest in productive property, so that you have something to defend.
