The Church and Politics: Separation or Engagement?

In this Episode, I'll be joined by my friend Terrance Williams and we discuss the objections to the Church being involved in politics. We will be discussing both sides of the argument, and giving our opinions on whether or not the Church should be engaged in politics.  

We discuss a list of some common objections to this issues.  

1. Nation Changing Wasn't a Part of Jesus' Mission it Shouldn't be a Part of Ours. 

2. You Can't Change People's Hearts by Changing Laws 

3. In Fight for Our Rights, We're Not Putting Others First 

4. Neither Party Represents Christianity, So Christians Shouldn't be Known to be Affiliated with a Specific Party. 

5. Politically Concerned Christians Just Want to Gain Power.  

As a Christian, I believe that the Church should be involved in politics. I think it's important that the Church communicates its beliefs to the government, and helps to shape the government in a way that is consistent with the Bible. I believe that the Church should be engaged in politics, and not just stay out of it. I hope you'll join me in this discussion, and let me know what you think!
