S17 || Religious Disobedience Leads to a Woman’s Murder || Judges 18:16 – 19:30 || Session 17

We meet a paid religious leader who is mainly interested in getting a larger congregation. We meet people of Israel that continue in disobedience by setting up idols in the center of the city. All the while no one is asking for God’s guidance or forgiveness. A woman gets raped to death then dismembered, a crime that shows the depth of disobedience of Israel, who is in full-blown disobedience and is doing what is right in their own eyes.  

• Is church growth measured in numbers of people? 
• Can a child of God can be distracted from the Lord’s work? 
• How can a society get so immoral to wink at murder?
• Are we equally guilty of not dealing with murder near us?
