Here we learn of the consequences of Israel’s past pagan worship, their excuses for building a religious shrine, the remnant that God always keeps, the fleshly need for a religious object on which to focus, and what happens to our doctrine when we separate ourselves from other believers.  

• What happens when we do not ask God’s guidance?
• Is a bloodless sacrifice a good thing or not? 
• What happens when we settle away from other believers? 
• Is there a difference in the guilt of sin and the consequences of sin?
