Hello Everyone & Welcome Back to the RealPositiveGirl Podcast!

Thank you so much for joining me again!

Happy Monday!

This week's theme for the podcast is: Patience!

Patience is a skill that every single one of us needs & can work on. Practicing patience within different parts of our lives may seem easy, but it's important to think about how we act while practicing it & evaluate if it was worth it for our desired outcome. Whether or not you feel like you are winning at the patience game, please join me this week for some tips on how to dominate this skill!

Here are some great ideas on how to become better at practicing patience!

Here are some notes from today's episode:

  • One of the best quotes I have heard about patience is from Joyce Meyer, “Patient is not simply the ability to wait, it’s how we behave while we’re waiting.”
  • Sometimes it’s necessary to endure some short term discomfort for long term success & satisfaction.
  • We live in a world driven by instant gratification that having patience for things can be tough if we don’t force ourselves to slow down & enjoy where we are & what we are working on at the moment.
  • Patience can also mean being better at active listening, which means to not always jump ahead in your mind on what you response will be to someone. Instead, you will listen intently & THEN form a response based on what that person said.

Please share this podcast with anyone that may need this encouragement!
