Identify If You Fear Success & Write Down What You Fear

This week our theme for the podcast is: Fear of Success

Fear of success can really hold us back from pursuing the goals we have been sitting on for the longest time. We can be so caught up in what changes success will bring to our lives and the uncertainty of the whole situation.

I thought it would be really helpful to share some thoughts & encouragement on how to navigate through this fear & get over this insecurity.

Here are some notes from today's episode:

• Ways to know you are afraid of success: Leaving projects unfinished, never sticking to plans, can’t make up your mind, never pursuing your plans, going in circles & never making change
• You might not even realize that you have a fear of success until you take some time to really evaluate how you’re feeling and what’s going on
• It could actually be fear of failure that is pushing your fear of success
• Change your mindset of thinking of failures as just mistakes - it’s less jarring & negative, more forgiving
• Mistakes provide feedback & learning opportunities
• You will have to accept the fact that if you achieve your dreams, you may stand out, people may talk about you and your life may change (for the good or bad)
