According to recent research, over half the employees surveyed said they would welcome a two week lockdown over Christmas to help them deal with their feelings of overwhelm and burnout, caused by the return to the workplace since July 2021. With absence figures running high, employer expectations high, customer expectations higher, 73% of respondents said they were really struggling with "returnism", following a long period away from the workplace due to the Coronavirus global pandemic.
