As the New Year approaches, it’s important to focus on the things that really matter and let go of the things that don’t. Worry, stress, and anxiety can be overwhelming, but there are ways to cope. Find self-care strategies that work for you, such as writing in a journal, listening to a calming podcast, or meditating. Take time for yourself to focus on the positive and de-stress. Let go of the things that don’t matter and start the New Year with a sense of calm and motivation.

Stabilize your thoughts with these tools:

  • Journaling
  • Meditating
  • Going for a walk outside (or moving/stretching in any way)
  • Focus on gratitude (in fact, write them down in your Self-Care Planner!)
  • Affirm yourself
