Sometimes buying a house doesn’t factor in to our day to day decisions. We’re too busy planning weddings, enjoying life that when we try to think about buying a house, we discover there’s a lot to learn!

Chris Lyn hadn’t even thought about buying a house. He was planning all the details of his wedding, and when he decided to buy, he and his wife couldn’t afford the dream house in Toronto. Some of his friends had moved to Stouffville, Ontario, and he sort of joked why would they move so far. After looking around, his agent suggested they expand their search and found a fixer-upper in Stouffville. His friend laugh at the fact he ended up there.
