The mix was at a live event in an old warehouse and is a throwback to old school 1990’s New York Underground Electronic Warehouse music that meets the sound of 2024. Including music by Rabbit in The Moon, Hardkiss, Hawke, Marsh, Christian Smith, Bedrock, Josh Wink, Joey Beltram, Elzace and dirtybird.4 decks were used constantly and this was one of the most complicated mixes I have ever peformed live. There was so much that could go wrong so quickly that it was a big risk to even attempt it at live event. It’s mixed for the sound of a warehouse so some tricks do not transfer over to a recording… but it is well worth sharing.
