One of the key values of a Real Life Runner is intention with our actions. This means creating goals as checkpoints on our journey rather than final destinations. This means that while we like to see progress, we also understand there are times when maintaining is the goal. Watching the players in the midst of March Madness, brought up some highlights of striving for a goal, process vs outcome goals, and how to handle coming up short and missing on a big goal.
