Imagine waking up to find your keys neatly placed on a bed you stripped the night before, then realizing you never laid them there at all. That’s how one Ohio resident’s quiet life turned into a daily game of paranormal hide-and-seek. First, it was the keys, then lighters, socks, and even a belt, each vanishing only to resurface somewhere impossible or absurd. The unseen prankster soon earned a nickname: “Tom,” the house’s resident kleptomaniac ghost. So, who (or what) is Tom? A playful poltergeist, a guardian spirit, or the mind’s way of coping with stress?
