A Conversation with Kipper Jones

I was honored to spend some time with this talented artist and musician as Real Chicks Rock!™ Presents Real Discussions had a conversation with Kipper Jones.

Kipper has been playing and singing in a band since he was 13 years old with Gospel music being his foundation.  He was always one to sign up for contests, that he either won or met people that saw his talent and wanted to help him get to the next level.

He had a unique opportunity to meet writers that worked for Motown.  They showed him how to hone in on his skills and learn more about the music business.  Kipper has written songs for some phenomenal people in the music industry - Brandy, Vanessa Williams, Kenny Lattimore, Silk, and the list goes on.

What does Kipper like the most?  Is it singing or writing? Well, it's being on stage where he can connect with the music, lyrics, and audience all at once.  Born in California, he lived in a few places in between but calls Atlanta his home.  

Kipper is far from being done as he's learning more and growing in the ever-changing music industry.  Kipper is simply excited about it all.
