Sheryl Gray’s Story (part 2 of 3)

Welcome to Re:Center.  This podcast is a place for our church family to gather and listen for what God is saying. These episodes will  be like letters to Center Church, we call it Re:Center because it is like the Reply in the subject line of an email and it will function like a reply to what is going on around us in the world and how Jesus wants us to respond as citizens of His kingdom. 

As followers of Jesus we ask His kingdom come and His will be done here as it is in heaven. This podcast will seek to reply to our church to center our lives on Jesus and His kingdom, to live our lives in obedience to His Kingdom today, to bring the order and healing of Jesus to the chaos and sickness of this broken world.
 
This episode is the 2nd of a 3 part series where Sheryl tells her story as she grew up in Virginia as a young black girl and travels to Lake County IL, where she gets married and raises a black family.
