Black History Month with Sheryl Gray

This month is Black History Month and we are excited to have Sheryl Gray join us on the podcast. Listen in as we ask Sheryl Gray to share with us the significance of Black History month.  As a church and as individuals, we want to hear other’s stories so that we can see the world through other’s eyes.

Starting March 1st we will be rebranding and relaunching the podcast. As we begin  a new chapter as Center Church, we will be naming the podcast Re:Center. The podcast will be like a reply in email, where each episode is like a letter to our church, in response to where Jesus is leading us or in response to what is going on in culture around us.

We are excited share that in the first week we will be releasing a 3 part series where Sheryl tells her story as she grew up in Virginia as a young black girl and travels to Lake County IL, where she gets married and raises a black family. So listen and hear and learn what it was like for Sheryl and her family.
