1: Dogs

Joel and David discuss dogs. Descended from wolves but bred to be eternally joyful companions they are more like children than animals. Man's greatest achievement, the existence of a creature so pure of heart is a true wonder. Their ancestors, the ancient and mighty wolves of the frozen forests, must be turning in their graves. They also cover ladles, the oil with which you oil a ladle, and the way you can extract it by squeezing whales.
